The
cruisers used by the Deerfield Police Department are equipped
with the best state
of
the art equipment now available to law enforcement. The cruisers
are all equipped
with
voice activated computer controlled LED light bars, digital
radios, and sirens as
part
of the Car-54 Project conducted by the University of New Hampshire.
The
department
maintains a fleet of two fully marked patrol cars, one marked patrol SUV, one unmarked
cruiser
and a detail cruiser.
