The
cruisers used by the Deerfield Police Department are equipped
with the most state
of
the art equipment now available to law enforcement. The cruisers
are all equipped
with
voice activated, computer controlled, LED light bars, digital
radios and sirens as
part
of the Car-54 Project conducted by the University of New Hampshire.
The
department
maintains a fleet of 3 fully marked patrol cars, one unmarked
cruiser,
a
D.A.R.E. car, and a utility pickup.
