There are several local book groups in town: one library-sponsored, three others are held in private homes.
The library group meets at the town library on the second Thursday of each month from 7 - 8:30 pm. Each year we vote for 10 books from a list of nominations by the members, then rotate the honor of leading and providing refreshments between the members. We number over 20 members with an average attendance of 15 -18 members attending each session.
The library arranges to borrow enough copies from other surrounding libraries in order for each member to have a copy to read. These copies are available for a one-month loan from us.
