SEARCHING FOR A BOOK ELECTRONICALLY
You can access our holdings and the holdings of all the libraries in the state from home.
- Go to www.nhu-pac.nh.gov and choose the “Advanced Searching” tab.
- Limit searches to the Deerfield library by entering HSSE in the location field (Look for a separate box below the boolean search boxes.)
- To place an interlibrary loan order electronically (or just to have a book you’ve found set aside for you):
1.) In the online catalog, find the record of the book you want and click on the box which says, “Add to My List”.
2.) When your list is complete, click on “My List” in the upper right corner.
3.) When your list is displayed, click on “Email this list.” (beneath list)
4.) Send your request to email@example.com. Include in the subject line: your name, library card number, phone number or email address. If you don't identify yourself in the subject line, we won't know who the request is from. Allow 1-2 weeks for delivery.
NOTE: Because of cutbacks at the State level to van delivery service, we are asking patrons to limit their lists to no more than 2 items at a time.
- Call 463-7187 if you have any questions. Interlibrary loan requests should be addressed to Mel Graykin.
