Downloadable Audio and eBooks
New: Now you can download magazines, too!
New Hampshire Downloadable Books is a service offered by the NH State Library and participating libraries in the state. Check out a wide selection of titles. Here's how:
To Get Started:
*Go to the friendly, easy to use introductory website for complete instructions and tutorials. It's a simple process, but it differs slightly depending on what devices and software you are using. You might want to bookmark this site in case you have questions later.
*Go to the Downloadable Books Website:. https://nh.overdrive.com.(You can link to this directly from the previous introductory site).
*On the upper right-hand side, click on “Sign In”. Choose ‘Deerfield; Philbrick-James Library’ then enter the 4-digit code (which you obtain from the library) plus your library card number (no spaces). Note: you must have a valid library card to use this service.
Now you are ready to browse the collection, download your favorites, and enjoy. If you have any questions or problems, the NHDB blogsite should have the answer. If not, let us know. Enjoy!
