Fuel/Utility Assistance Services

Fuel Assistance Program: Call 603-895-2303. Administered by Rockingham Community Action Program, 55 Prescott Road, Raymond, NH 03077. To qualify, persons must (1) be responsible for paying heating bills to an energy supplier or indirectly as part of rent; (2) have yearly heating costs of at least $100; and (3) have a total household income that falls below federally established income guidelines for one month prior to application.

Electric Assistance Program (EAP): Call 603-895-2303. Administered by Rockingham Community Action Program, 55 Prescott Road, Raymond, NH 03077. The EAP provides eligible customers with a discount on their monthly electric bills.

NH Emergency Rental Assistance Program New Hampshire Emergency Rental Assistance Program (NHERAP) | SNHS or call 211.  Program for renters and landlords, not homeowners. If you are at risk of foreclosure or are having difficulty paying your home mortgage, utilities, home insurance or property taxes, go to HomeHelpNH.org or call 2-1-1.

Neighbor Helping Neighbor: Call 603-895-2303. Administered by Rockingham Community Action Program, 55 Prescott Road, Raymond, NH 03077. Program to assist electric and natural gas customers who may not qualify for other assistance.

Project Coolair: Call 603 436 9059 ext 1. This Program provides air conditioners for low income, medically fragile seniors. Founded by the Area HomeCare & Family Services.

Safelink: For Enrollment and Plan Changes Support: 1-800-Safelink. Lifeline service is a program that enables qualifying customers to receive discounts on monthly telephone service. Also see Affordable Connectivity Program (ACP), a federal government benefit program aimed at ensuring connectivity to eligible households.
