Important Notice Concerning Recycling:
The Transfer Station is asking for the residents' help by placing corrugated cardboard and mixed paper in separate receptacles at the Transfer Station beginning July 27, 2010.
The Town will receive an additional $10.00 per ton for the mixed paper if the corrugated cardboard is not included. Keeping the corrugated cardboard separate will bring in $85.00 per ton which will help offset the operating costs of the Transfer Station.
Please help the Town’s recycling efforts by separating your corrugated cardboard which will allow us to help offset the cost of operations at the transfer station. The Transfer Station management and the Board of Selectmen thank you for your assistance in this matter.
