2021- Highway - Road Reconstruction – 02 - 01

TOWN OF DEERFIELD 

INVITATION TO BID

The Town of Deerfield is seeking sealed bids for road reconstruction materials and processed gravel, per ton delivered and picked up, as listed below: 

1 ½-inch processed gravel;

3/4-inch processed gravel;

3 inch minus bank run;

1 1/2-inch minus erosion stone;

3/4-inch minus erosion stone;

6-inch minus erosion stone 

If requested, materials are to be delivered to various job sites within the Town of Deerfield.  Processed gravels must meet all current NHDOT standards as outlined in Section 304 of the NH Dept. of Transportation Standard Specifications, latest edition.  The gradation of the materials shall meet those contained in Table 304, Base Course Materials Required Gradation: Sand 304.1, Gravel 304.2, Crushed Gravel 304.3, Crushed Gravel for Shoulder Leveling 304.32, Crushed Aggregate for Shoulders 304.33,

2" Crushed Stone 304.4, 3-1/2" Crushed Stone 304.5, 6" Crushed Stone 304.6.

Please mark bid envelope, “Highway - RECONSTRUCTION MATERIALS – 02 - 01”.All bids must be received by the Board of Selectmen’s Office located at 8 Raymond Road, P.O. Box 159, Deerfield, NH 03037 by no later than Thursday, May 20, 2021 by 2:00 pm. Bid Submission

Provide proof of current liability insurance with the Bid.

Please mark each bid envelope clearly with:

 “2021- Highway - Road Reconstruction – 02 - 01”

All bids must be received at the Board of Selectmen’s Office by no later than Wednesday, May 20, 2021 by 2:00 pm.  Mail all sealed bids to “Board of Selectmen”, 8 Raymond Road, P.O. Box 159, Deerfield, NH 03037.

Bids shall be opened and read aloud at the Monday, May 24, 2021 meeting of the Board of Selectmen. 

No bidder may withdraw a Bid within 30 days of the actual date of bid opening.

A conditional or qualified Bid will not be accepted.

The Town may waive or offer a limited opportunity for a Bidder to cure immaterial deviations from the RFB requirements if it is determined to be in the best interest of the Town.

The Town of Deerfield reserves the right to reject any and all bids.
