TOWN OF DEERFIELD 

INVITATION TO BID

 

The Town of Deerfield is seeking sealed bids for road reconstruction materials and processed gravel, per ton delivered and picked up.

 

  • 1 ½” processed gravel
  • 1 ½” stone
  • ¾” processed gravel
  • ¾” stone
  • 3” minus bank run
  • 2” – 4” erosion stone

 

  • 6” minus erosion stone
 

 

If requested, materials are to be delivered to various job sites within the Town of Deerfield.  Processed gravels must meet all current NHDOT standards as outlined in Section 304 of the NH Dept. of Transportation Standard Specifications, latest edition (see corresponding spec. numbers).  The gradation of the materials shall meet those contained in Table 304, Base Course Materials Required Gradation: Sand 304.1; Gravel 304.2; Crushed Gravel 304.3; Crushed Gravel for Shoulder Leveling 304.32; Crushed Aggregate for Shoulders 304.33; 2" Crushed Stone 304.4; 3-1/2" Crushed Stone 304.5; 6" Crushed Stone 304.6.  All supplied materials may be periodically tested.

 

Please mark bid envelope, “2024 Highway - RECONSTRUCTION MATERIALS - 10”.All bids must be received by the Board of Selectmen’s Office located at 8 Raymond Road, P.O. Box 159, Deerfield, NH 03037 by no later than Wednesday, May 1, 2024 by 2:00 pm. Bid Submission

 

  • Provide proof of current liability insurance with the Bid.
  • Please mark each bid envelope clearly with:

 

 “2024- Highway - Road Reconstruction - 10”

 

All bids must be received at the Board of Selectmen’s Office by no later than Wednesday, May 1, 2024 by 2:00 pm.  Mail all sealed bids to “Board of Selectmen”, 8 Raymond Road, P.O. Box 159, Deerfield, NH 03037.

  

  • Bids shall be opened and read aloud at the Monday, May 6, 2024 meeting of the Board of Selectmen. 
  • No bidder may withdraw a Bid within 30 days of the actual date of bid opening.
  • A conditional or qualified Bid will not be accepted.
  • The Town of Deerfield reserves the right to reject any and all bids.
