Notary Services

Notary/JP services are offered in the Town Clerk/Tax Collector's Office, free of charge to Deerfield residents during regular business hours. A valid photo id is required for this service.

Any signatures needing authentication must be signed in the presence of the notary/JP.

Kelly Ann Roberts - Justice of the Peace

In New Hampshire, a justice of the peace, while similar to a notary public, can perform more functions than a notary public.

Common notary/JP requests are for:

• Witnessing or attesting signatures
• Copy certifications
• Acknowledgments
